Workshop for Government Parliamentary Group to shape Sri Lanka's future development


Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa today participated in an educational workshop organized to apprise the Government Parliamentary Group of its role in shaping of the country's future.
The two-day workshop titled "Our March"(Ape Gamana) was held at Beruwela Rivarina Hotel conference hall with the participation of ministers, deputy ministers and government parliamentarians.

The workshop, organized by the Presidential Secretariat, is aimed to broadly discuss the 'Mahinda Chinthana' program for the purpose of building a new political culture in the country and to solicit views and proposals of the participants for formulating future economic policies.
Secretary to the President Lalith Weerathunga and President's Chief of Staff, Gamini Senarath were also present.
Senior Lecturer of Colombo University Prof. Laksiri Fernando, Senior Lecturer of Peradeniya University Dr. Damma Dissanayake and Dr. Charitha Herath conducted the workshop.
