Sri Lankan government considers revising fuel prices

Sri Lankan government is considering to revise the fuel prices in the country to ease the burden on the public, Minister of Petroleum and Petroleum Resources Development Susil Premajayantha has said
.Participating in an observation tour to the Sapugaskanda Oil refinery, the Minister has assured that the government will not increase the current fuel prices.
In another development, the government has taken measures to modernize the Sapugaskanda refinery at a cost of 2 billion US dollars. The Iran government has agreed to provide 70 percent of this amount, the Minister said.
