Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa Friday ceremonially declared open the mega exhibition of the 'Construct 2010' with over 225 stalls at the BMICH in Colombo.
The event was organized by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) to coincide with its 10th anniversary. The exhibits showcase the new innovative techniques and modern construction designs with special emphasis on cost effectiveness and durability.

Minister for Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Mr Wimal Weerawansa, Deputy Minister, Lasantha Alagiywanna, Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe, Chairman, NCASL Mr Shriyanatha Perera and a gathering of distinguished guests accompanied the President.
