Sri Lanka President pays tribute to fallen soldiers

Sri Lanka President on Friday (18) placed a wreath at the War Heroes' Memorial in the Parliamentary grounds at Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte and paid tribute to the members of the Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives in defence of the country.
Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne and Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa also placed wreaths at the Memorial.

Presidents Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, Commanders of the three forces, IGP, Mrs. Padma Wattawa, Chairwoman of Ranaviru Seva Authority were also present at the occasion.
