England cruises to final with seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka

England cruised into the final of the ICC T20 World Cup Tournament in St. Lucia today with a seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka

After wining the toss and deciding to bat the Sri Lankan team set an easy target of 129 for England.

England restricted the Sri Lankans for 128/6 taking early wickets of Mahela Jayawardena for 10 and Sanath Jayasuriya for 1. Angelo Mathews recovered the game from early losses scoring 58 before running out to England's Ryan Sidebottom.

Despite Sri Lanka bringing in the mystery man Ajantha Mendis for bowling attack, they were not able to halt the England's batting drive to win the match in 16 overs.
