Sri Lanka Army is one of the best Armies in the world. The people who watched the humanitarian operation from their living rooms are now thronging the exhibition grounds to have a real experience of these events.
The skills displayed by the Army Brigades and Regiments in the Wanni humanitarian operations are on display at the exhibition. Hundreds of thousands have the opportunity to have a first hand experience of how the Army captured the strongholds of the LTTE in the humanitarian operation that started at Mawilaru and concluded at the Nandikadal lagoon. Video shows of releasing the hostages which was the only military strategy of the terrorists, breaking the huge earth bunds and carrying out ambushes in enemy areas are available for the visitors.
